The <b> ATR 72 </b> is a passenger transport turboprop aircraft built by the Italo-European company ATR. <strong>The ATR 72</strong>, an extended version of the <strong> ATR 42</strong> with 78 seats, was introduced in 1989. It is available in an all-cargo version with 75 <abbr class="abbr" title="Cubic meters">m<sup>3</sup></abbr> and an <abbr class="abbr" title="kilograms"> 8,400 kg cargo capacity.</abbr> Developed based on the <strong> ATR 42</strong> to add 30 seats, the fuselage was lengthened by 4.5 meters. As of 2013, over a hundred ATRs were still in production, with demand itself justifying the value and consistency of this aircraft over the decades. This demand is also due to the turboprop model, which is much more economical in kerosene consumption, making it a cost-effective option in the competitive market, especially during periods of high oil prices.
